Well done to the boys and girls in 5th and 6th classes who took part in the Tag Rugby Blitz hosted by Carrigaline Rugby Club last Friday Dec 4th.
Seven schools took part in a great fun morning from Shanbally N.S, Ringaskiddy N.S, St Mary’s N.S., Ballygarvan N.S., Educate Together, Carrigaline Boys N.S and ourselves. Having been postponed due to bad weather the previous week, we were blessed with a dry morning on Friday. Two pitches were set up with two matches being held simultaneously. On Pitch 2 we were up against the Ballygarvan, Ringaskiddy and Boys School Team 2 .
Our team played enthusiastically and well with a win, draw and a loss. Each team was awarded a trophy for participating in this fun and well organised activity. Well done to all involved.
