5th and 6th class have been working very hard on their Port of Cork Project since January. This year’s theme ‘World War 1 (WW1) – the U.S. Navy in Cork Harbour in 1917’ is aimed at encouraging school children to explore the great maritime history of Cork Harbour and the role the harbour played in 1917. All submitted projects will go on public display in the Cobh Maritime Development building before the winner is announced in April 2017. Well done to all involved!
