Congratulations to our City Sports team.32 children, 16 boys and 16 girls represented Scoil Cnoc na Manach this year in one of the wettest days of the year on June 1st. Accompanied by Mrs. Mc Carthy and Ms. O’ Dea they all ran their very best and should be very proud.
In the morning session Theo won a silver and Cathal a gold. He went on to qualify from his quarter finals and we are proud to say he is one of the 8 fastest U10 runners in Cork. Well done Cathal!
Later in the afternoon session Orlaith and Faye won gold, while Sarah and Tara won silver.
Despite the inclement weather a great day was had by all. We came home with six trophies and had three runners compete in the county finals. Well done to the whole team.
