Well done to all who performed on Saturday in Ballinspittle at Scór. A large turn out made for a great days entertainment. Six schools competed and the standard was very high. With nine solo singers, we were delighted with the performance of Eric who can be very proud of his high score and very positive feedback in this event. Likewise Meghan had seven in her competition and her appropriate and well said poem was very well received.
Our instrumental group and ballad group were both up against five and four groups respectively. They performed very well and a stayed together as a team and played/sang with confidence.
Congratulations to the eight children in the play who entertained the crowd with their History of Ireland Rap and are delighted to have advanced to the South East Divisional Finals in Riverstick, next Sunday, March 6th. We wish them all the best of luck in this event.
